Part Qualified or Qualified Accountant – 18‑Month Fixed‑Term

About the role

Airbus Financial Services Limited is seeking a Part‑Qualified or Qualified Accountant for an 18‑month fixed‑term maternity cover. The role is based in the IFSC, Dublin and reports to the Finance Controller of Airbus Flight Hour Services Ltd.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of month‑end management and statutory accounts under tight deadlines.
• Prepare financial reports, perform reconciliations and investigate variances.
• Produce budgets, forecasts and monthly management reports.
• Liaise with internal and external auditors and other finance personnel.
• Participate in global stock‑takes as required.
• Deliver ad‑hoc reporting and ensure compliance with International Accounting Standards.
• Evaluate and improve existing finance systems and processes, including implementation of new tools such as AI‑driven solutions.

Required profile

• First‑ or second‑class honours graduate, highly motivated and technically astute.
• Hands‑on, flexible approach with a keen eye for detail and strong teamwork orientation.
• Awareness of compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity.
• Ability to meet tight reporting deadlines.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Google Workspace competence.
• Experience with SAP (preferred).
• Familiarity with AI tools for finance processes (preferred).
