Part‑Qualified or Qualified Accountant – 18‑month Fixed‑Term

About the role

Airbus Financial Services Limited is seeking a part‑qualified or qualified accountant for an 18‑month fixed‑term maternity cover within its finance department in Dublin’s IFSC. Reporting to the Finance Controller of Airbus Flight Hour Services Ltd, you will support month‑end reporting and financial analysis.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of month‑end management and statutory accounts under tight deadlines.
• Prepare financial reports, perform reconciliations and investigate variances.
• Produce budgets, forecasts and monthly management reports.
• Liaise with internal auditors, external auditors and finance personnel.
• Participate in global stock‑takes as required.
• Deliver ad‑hoc reporting and ensure compliance with International Accounting Standards.
• Evaluate and improve existing systems and processes for accurate, timely reporting.
• Implement new systems and processes, including the use of AI tools.

Required profile

• First‑ or second‑class honours graduate, highly motivated and technically astute.
• Hands‑on, flexible approach with a keen eye for detail.
• Excellent team player with strong integrity and awareness of compliance risks.
• Ability to meet tight reporting deadlines.
• Experience with SAP and involvement in IT projects is a distinct advantage.
