Part‑time Finance & Administration Assistant

About the role

This part‑time Finance and Administration Assistant role supports the Finance Department in preparing and recording financial data, conducting internal audits, and handling various administrative tasks. The position works three days per week with a flexible schedule that can be negotiated.

Key responsibilities

• Collate income, wage, and Café Bar data for reporting to IFI management.
• Carry out internal audit activities and spot checks to ensure proper internal controls.
• Process quarterly copyright returns and monitor key expenditure areas.
• Maintain and file documentation, fixed‑asset registers, and equipment records.
• Perform sales and cash‑lodgement reconciliations.
• Provide cover for financial officer duties, including cash lodgements, payroll, supplier payments, and sales invoice generation.
• Undertake any additional finance or administration duties as required.

Required profile

• Keen affinity with numbers and calculations.
• Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently, proactively, and meet deadlines.
• Professional workplace demeanour and strong written and verbal communication.
• Flexibility and willingness to adapt to changing priorities.

Required skills

• Good working knowledge of Excel.
