People Case Management Advisor (FIFO)

About the role
The Advisor, People Case Management will plan and conduct Tier 2 “Respect at Work” investigations on the Lihir operation, ensuring workplace standards, policies and the Code of Conduct are upheld. You will assess concerns, gather evidence and support fair, respectful outcomes for employees and stakeholders.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and conduct Tier 2 workplace investigations, including interviews, analysis and evidence assessment.
- Serve as the primary contact for employees and stakeholders throughout investigations, maintaining professional and respectful interactions.
- Prepare detailed investigation reports and communicate findings and recommended actions to relevant parties.
- Maintain accurate investigation records and advise on corrective measures based on findings.
- Identify process gaps, improvement opportunities and training needs while promoting awareness of the Code of Conduct and workplace standards.
Required profile
- Knowledge of HR/People practices, workplace policies, procedures and standards, applied fairly and consistently.
- Experience conducting workplace investigations, including interviewing, assessing information and drawing evidence‑based conclusions.
- Ability to navigate difficult conversations and conflict with compassion, fairness and respect.
- Strong written communication skills for preparing clear reports, findings and recommendations.
- Proficiency with MS Office and ability to build effective relationships with diverse stakeholders.
