People & Culture Executive – HR & Employee Engagement

About the role

The People & Culture Executive will shape the employee experience by leading internal communications, engagement programmes, culture initiatives and learning activities. Working closely with leaders and teams, the role ensures clear, consistent messaging and supports initiatives that reinforce organisational values and wellbeing.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate employee engagement, connection and culture initiatives, including recognition programmes and events.
• Support the rollout of the organisation's values and behaviours framework.
• Gather employee feedback through surveys, focus groups and listening activities, and provide recommendations.
• Develop and maintain an annual People & Culture communications and engagement plan.
• Draft, edit and publish internal communications such as newsletters, announcements, presentations and intranet content.
• Manage internal communication channels, ensuring timely and relevant content.
• Monitor communication effectiveness and suggest improvements based on data.
• Partner with Corporate Communications to align internal messaging.
• Contribute to change‑management and transformation projects, creating engagement plans for major initiatives.
• Prepare reports and recommendations for senior leadership and the People & Culture Committee.
• Support training needs analysis, programme design and coordination of external training providers.
• Coordinate organisation‑wide learning and development activities, including workshops and speaker sessions.
• Continuously review and improve culture and engagement practices.
