People Partner – 12-Month Fixed-Term Contract

About the role

StepStone Group is seeking a People Partner on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract to support its Go‑to‑Market division in Ireland. You will act as a trusted HR advisor for the Sales and Service teams across IrishJobs, Jobsie and NIJobs.com, helping to shape a high‑performance culture aligned with business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with senior leaders to align people initiatives with business priorities and provide coaching to enable effective decision‑making.
• Support managers through performance management cycles, including disciplinary actions, grievance handling and performance improvement plans.
• Ensure HR policies and practices comply with Irish employment legislation and internal standards.
• Drive employee engagement, development and retention initiatives.
• Contribute to organisational change programmes and the implementation of people‑focused projects.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience as an HR Business Partner, People Partner or HR Generalist in a fast‑paced environment.
• Third‑level qualification in Human Resources or a related discipline.
• Strong expertise in HR generalist functions, policy development and employee relations.
• Proven ability to coach, influence and build credibility with stakeholders at all levels.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and change‑management skills, with a commercial mindset.
