Principal Consultant – Senior Recruitment Specialist

About the role

Marks Sattin is seeking a Principal Consultant to lead senior‑level recruitment mandates within the financial services sector in Dublin. You will operate at a senior level, leveraging a strong personal brand and network to deliver high‑value headhunting solutions for executive and senior positions.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end sales and business development, expanding the client portfolio and generating new opportunities.
• Lead client visits, pitches, and tender processes, acting as the primary Account Manager for strategic accounts.
• Maintain long‑term relationships with key clients, providing market insights, salary benchmarking and recruitment strategy advice.
• Build and manage a pipeline of high‑quality candidates, securing a majority on an exclusive basis.
• Provide interview coaching, candidate updates and a consultative service throughout the recruitment lifecycle.
• Collaborate internally to cross‑sell services and support the growth of the wider team.

Required profile

• Proven senior‑level experience in executive recruitment, preferably within financial services.
• Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed top‑quartile sales and activity targets.
• Strong personal brand and extensive network of senior decision‑makers.
• Excellent client‑facing and relationship‑building skills.
• Self‑motivated, autonomous and capable of operating under minimal supervision.
