Process Operator – Rendering Plant (Shift Work)

About the role
College Group is looking for an enthusiastic Process Operator to join the Production Team at its Rendering Plant in Nobber. The role works on an 8‑hour shift pattern covering days, nights and weekends, supporting the plant’s efficiency and key performance indicators.
Key responsibilities
- Operate the production PLC system to control processes, collect data and generate reports.
- Identify and report any operational problems to the production supervisor.
- Achieve process capacity targets and meet KPI requirements.
- Hand over critical information during shift transitions.
- Sample and deliver products to the laboratory for quality control.
- Perform routine facility maintenance, equipment inspection and preventative maintenance.
- Follow all safety guidelines and regulatory requirements set by the HSA and other authorities.
Required profile
- Ability to organise and prioritise work for timely completion.
- Excellent computer proficiency.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills.
