Product Designer – Optimize User Experience & Conversion

About the role

The Product Designer will own the experience and performance of a defined channel, working with existing and new partners to improve product quality and commercial outcomes. The role sits in the Perform space, focusing on optimizing live product experiences to drive measurable impact on conversion, engagement, and revenue.

Key responsibilities

• Own design within a cross‑functional squad and be accountable for the channel’s experience and performance.
• Identify, prioritize and test opportunities to improve user journeys, reduce friction and increase conversion.
• Define hypotheses, design solutions, run experiments and iterate based on data‑driven results.
• Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Engineers and Product Insights to translate data and user needs into effective solutions.
• Design high‑quality interaction and visual experiences, ensuring consistency and scalability through the design system.
• Partner with Engineering during delivery to guarantee high standards of quality, usability and performance.
• Present work to internal stakeholders and external partners, incorporating feedback to refine outcomes.
• Facilitate critiques, design reviews and share learnings across the wider design and product teams.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of product design experience with a strong portfolio of shipped work.
• Relevant third‑level qualification in Product Design, UX/UI, Interaction Design or equivalent industry experience.
• Demonstrated ability to balance short‑term optimisation with longer‑term, hypothesis‑driven discovery.
• Experience working in cross‑functional squads and collaborating with engineering and product teams.
