Production Manager – Galway

About the role

The Production Manager will report to the Operations Director and join the Galway Senior Leadership team. You will be responsible for overseeing daily manufacturing operations, ensuring safety, quality, and on‑time delivery while driving continuous improvement across the plant.

Key responsibilities

• Lead day‑to‑day production to meet output, quality and delivery targets.
• Optimize use of labour, equipment and materials and implement corrective actions when performance deviates.
• Maintain compliance with health, safety and quality standards.
• Coach, develop and schedule production teams, fostering a collaborative culture.
• Act as a change agent, embedding Lean, Six Sigma and other improvement initiatives.
• Identify inefficiencies, drive cost control and productivity improvements.
• Establish KPIs, analyse production data and report performance to senior management.
• Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain and HR to align production with business strategy.

Required profile

• Proven experience in managing manufacturing or production environments.
• Strong leadership skills with a track record of developing high‑performing teams.
• Ability to lead organisational change and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
• Excellent analytical mindset for monitoring performance and driving corrective actions.
