Production Operative – Fixed Term (18 months)

About the role

Join Britvic Ireland’s manufacturing team as a Production Operative on an 18‑month fixed‑term contract. You will help maintain high quality standards and drive site performance by operating and maintaining production equipment in a fast‑paced consumer‑goods environment.

Key responsibilities

• Operate plant equipment safely and in line with best practices and health‑and‑safety policies.
• Perform routine maintenance, respond to breakdowns and support scheduled upkeep.
• Monitor production lines, conduct quality checks and ensure products meet established specifications.
• Record production data and update information systems promptly.
• Participate in continuous‑improvement projects using root‑cause analysis and lean techniques.
• Track and improve key performance indicators such as overall equipment effectiveness.

Required profile

• Passionate team player with experience in a fast‑moving consumer‑goods manufacturing setting.
• Good understanding of manufacturing processes, health, safety and environmental (HSE) requirements.
• Basic education (Leaving Certificate or equivalent) and a Basic Hygiene Certificate.
• Ability to work on‑site in Dublin and follow structured procedures.
• Forklift licence preferred but not mandatory.
