Production Operator – PCB Assembly

About the role

We are looking for a Production Operator to join our Carrigaline facility, where you will work on the assembly of printed circuit boards and related electronic components for high‑reliability motor control solutions. The role is onsite and offers a 12‑month fixed‑term contract.

Key responsibilities

• Operate assembly, PCB cleaning and baking equipment to complete specified tasks.
• Prepare components, apply adhesives and conformal coatings, and perform manual PCB and mechanical hardware assembly following SOPs and assembly drawings.
• Use torque tools and perform inspections, rework, and machine maintenance as required.
• Set up equipment, carry out process measurements, and record production data in the ERP system.
• Follow anti‑static, safety, and housekeeping procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of experience in electronic or PCB assembly.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and production targets.
• Ability to work under engineering control and follow documented procedures.
• Positive, flexible attitude with good interpersonal skills.

Required skills

• Knowledge of IPC7711, IPC7721 and IPC J‑Standard.
• Proficiency with torque tools and PCB cleaning/baking equipment.
• Experience using an ERP system for work order processing.
• Familiarity with adhesives, conformal coatings, and anti‑static precautions.
