About the role

We are looking for a Project Manager to join Iarnród Éireann Irish Rail and help deliver our capital investment programme in the Mid‑West, focusing on the Limerick Area Rail Programme. The role will support the delivery of a portfolio of major rail infrastructure projects that will underpin the region’s projected population growth.

Key responsibilities

  • Support the delivery of the project portfolio in the Mid‑West region.
  • Contribute to the planning, execution and monitoring of major capital projects linked to the Limerick Area Rail Programme.
  • Work closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure projects meet safety, schedule and budget objectives.

Required profile

  • Committed project delivery professional with an interest in rail infrastructure.
  • Ability to work within a values‑driven organisation focused on safe, customer‑focused journeys.
