Project Manager – Construction Contracts

About the role

The Project Manager will lead the planning and execution of multiple construction contracts, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. Reporting to the Project Director, you will work closely with construction managers, clients, and internal teams to drive successful outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Develop project execution strategies, including vendor and subcontractor selection.
• Establish and lead construction supervision teams across multiple sites.
• Collaborate with EHS officers to define site safety requirements and manage incident investigations.
• Maintain client relationships to foster loyalty and repeat business.
• Plan project phases from initiation to close‑out, conduct critical‑path analysis, and mitigate schedule slippage.
• Identify and manage contract risks and opportunities.
• Prepare and deliver weekly/monthly progress reports to clients and stakeholders.
• Coordinate with HR, Finance, Commercial, Procurement, and Estimating for efficient contract execution.
• Oversee construction managers’ progress reporting and earned‑value forecasting.
• Work with the commercial team on contract financials and resolve customer complaints.
• Manage mobilization and demobilization of site resources.
• Liaise with QA/QC resources to ensure compliance with standards and specifications.
• Ensure successful final acceptance and handover of each contract.

Required profile

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction, or a related field.
• Project Management Certificate or Diploma.
