Project Manager – Electronic Security Systems

About the role

We are looking for a highly organised and results‑driven Project Manager to lead the end‑to‑end delivery of electronic security system installations, including CCTV, alarms and access control, for large commercial environments and data centres.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute and deliver electronic security projects on time, within scope and budget.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, vendors and internal teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Manage project documentation such as schedules, submittals, change orders, risk assessments and reports.
• Oversee site surveys, installation planning, equipment procurement and commissioning.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety protocols and client‑specific requirements, especially for critical infrastructure.
• Conduct regular status meetings and site inspections to monitor progress and resolve issues.
• Provide technical guidance to installation teams and maintain clear communication with all stakeholders.
• Prepare final project reports and support handover to service/maintenance teams.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of proven experience managing security system installations or construction projects in commercial or critical‑infrastructure settings.
• High integrity and professionalism, essential for handling security‑related projects.
• Strong leadership, organisational and communication abilities.
• Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel to client sites.

Required skills

• Experience with CCTV, access‑control and alarm system installations.
• Proficiency in project‑management software (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet).
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and system schematics.
• Understanding of electronic security systems and installation methodologies.
