Project Manager – Mechanical & Electrical (Cavan/Sligo/Mayo)

About the role

You will lead the delivery of major mechanical and electrical (M&E) projects across the North West region of Ireland, overseeing all phases from planning to commissioning. The role involves close collaboration with internal teams, subcontractors and clients to ensure safe, on‑time, and budget‑conscious execution.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full lifecycle of M&E projects from inception to handover.
• Develop project plans, schedules and allocate resources effectively.
• Coordinate site teams, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Monitor progress, risks and performance metrics, providing regular reports to senior stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with health & safety, quality and regulatory standards.
• Oversee procurement, cost control and commercial performance.
• Support commissioning, testing and final handover activities.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Project Manager within an M&E contractor environment.
• Strong electrical or mechanical background (electrical preferred).
• Experience delivering industrial, commercial, energy or infrastructure projects.
• Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Full driving licence.
