Project Manager – Operational Readiness (Biotech)

About the role

PE Global is seeking a Project Manager to support operational readiness for a leading multinational biotech client in Dublin. This 12‑month hybrid contract will involve coordinating cross‑functional teams to ensure equipment, qualification and manufacturing activities are sequenced for safe start‑up and reliable operations.

Key responsibilities

• Support planning and execution across all major milestones (FAT, SAT, FT, AVS, EMPQ, Media Fill, PPQ).
• Align Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, EHS and other functional readiness plans into a single execution rhythm.
• Provide visibility of readiness status, identify operational risks and escalate issues to leadership.
• Establish structured progress‑tracking mechanisms, validate updates from functional teams and enforce action closure.
• Escalate risks that could impact critical milestones and partner with stakeholders to define mitigation plans.

Required profile

• Educational background: Level 8 degree or equivalent (Bac).
• Proven experience in operational readiness within biotech/pharma manufacturing environments.
• Strong knowledge of GMP, equipment qualification and validation processes.
• Ability to coordinate Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, EHS and other stakeholders.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
