Project Manager – Process Development (12‑month contract)

About the role

PE Global is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead new drug product introductions and lifecycle management projects for a multinational biotech client in Dublin. This 12‑month hybrid contract role reports to the Senior Manager, Process Development and works within a matrix organisation to deliver projects safely, compliantly and on schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Define and maintain integrated project plans covering scope, schedule, cost, resources and performance tracking.
• Lead project governance forums and core team meetings, ensuring clear decision‑making and accountability.
• Drive cross‑functional execution of new product introductions (NPI) and lifecycle management initiatives.
• Partner with site SMEs, functional managers and global stakeholders to align priorities and secure resources.
• Own risk, issue and change control management, including GMP change controls.
• Ensure all activities comply with cGMP, EHS and quality system requirements.

Required profile

• Proven senior‑level project or programme leadership experience in pharma/biotech.
• Strong ability to influence and lead matrixed, multinational teams without direct authority.
• Excellent communication skills to keep stakeholders informed of risks, decisions and status.
• Demonstrated experience delivering projects from initiation through close‑out.
• Commitment to personal accountability, compliance and right‑first‑time execution.
