Project Planner – Geotechnical & Construction Projects

About the role

Trevi Foundations Philippines is looking for an experienced Project Planner to support the delivery of major geotechnical and construction works on the Lihir Project in Papua New Guinea. The role involves creating and maintaining detailed schedules, reporting progress, and providing planning support to the project management team.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and update integrated project schedules using Primavera P6.
• Prepare baseline, resource‑loaded, and cost‑loaded schedules as required.
• Monitor progress, perform critical‑path analysis, and identify schedule risks and opportunities.
• Generate weekly and monthly progress reports, dashboards, and performance metrics.
• Coordinate planning activities with Project Managers, Site Managers, Engineers, Procurement, and Construction teams.
• Review subcontractor schedules and ensure alignment with the overall program.
• Support change‑management processes, assess delay events, and assist in recovery plan development.

Required profile

• Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management or related field; professional licence preferred.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in project planning for construction, mining, civil or geotechnical projects.
• Strong understanding of project controls, scheduling principles and earned‑value concepts.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and other project reporting tools.
