Purchasing Manager – Retail Solutions

About the role

Solv‑X Ltd is looking for a proactive Purchasing Manager to join its team in the Dundalk area. The role is full‑time, based primarily in the office with the possibility of occasional remote work. You will be responsible for driving the procurement strategy that supports the company’s innovative non‑food retail solutions across the UK and Ireland.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate and select suppliers that meet quality, cost and delivery criteria.
• Negotiate contracts and terms to secure favourable pricing and service levels.
• Maintain and develop strong vendor relationships to ensure reliable supply.
• Oversee the end‑to‑end procurement process, from requisition to receipt of goods.
• Monitor supplier performance and resolve any issues that arise.

Required profile

• Strong supplier management capabilities.
• Proven experience in contract negotiation and contract management.
• Excellent analytical skills for assessing costs, performance and supply‑chain data.
• Experience in retail or global sourcing is an advantage.
• Bachelor’s degree in Purchasing, Procurement, Supply Chain or a related discipline (preferred).
