QA Specialist – 12‑month contract

About the role

We are seeking a QA Specialist to join our Quality Assurance team on a 12‑month contract basis in Waterford. Working on a hybrid model (three days onsite per week), you will ensure that all products are manufactured, stored, and packaged in strict compliance with cGMP standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform audits across all departments according to the agreed schedule.
• Support the development and delivery of GMP training packages.
• Review and prepare procedures, batch documentation, and investigation reports.
• Maintain and continuously improve the quality system to meet cGMP requirements.
• Measure and report RFT/trend data, collaborating with departments to resolve recurring issues.
• Participate in internal supplier and regulatory audits and key quality initiatives.

Required profile

• Third‑level qualification, preferably a science degree.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar QA role within a GMP environment.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Valid Irish work authorization (Stamp 1G, Stamp 4, or EU passport).
