QC Analyst – GMP Pharmaceutical Testing

About the role

Join SGS, a global leader in testing, inspection and certification, as a QC Analyst supporting pharmaceutical clients in Ireland. You will work in a GMP‑compliant laboratory, performing analytical testing on raw materials and drug substances while upholding the highest quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform GC and HPLC analyses, as well as other required analytical techniques, on pharmaceutical substances.
• Follow validated testing procedures and regulatory requirements to generate accurate results.
• Maintain laboratory equipment, ensure timely calibrations, and manage inventory of consumables.
• Enter data accurately into the LIMS and assess testing results for batch release.
• Review and verify results produced by other analysts when qualified.
• Document investigations, deviations, and atypical results, and lead laboratory investigations as needed.
• Maintain a clean, audit‑ready laboratory environment and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Science graduate in Chemistry or equivalent (Level 7).
• Minimum 2 years post‑qualification experience in a GMP laboratory.
• Demonstrated ability to work to GMP standards and follow SOPs.
