Quality Assurance Team Lead

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Team Lead to join a global biopharmaceutical manufacturer in Dublin. In this role you will combine technical expertise with people leadership to ensure GMP manufacturing standards are upheld and operational excellence is achieved.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and develop a team of QA professionals.
• Provide QA support across GMP manufacturing activities, including batch release.
• Review quality documentation and manage deviations, investigations and CAPAs.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, QC, Engineering and other site functions.
• Support inspections and maintain inspection readiness.
• Promote continuous improvement and a strong quality culture.

Required profile

• Experience in a GMP pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
• Previous leadership, supervisory or mentoring experience.
• Strong understanding of GMP regulations and Quality Systems.
• Experience supporting operational quality activities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• A degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Pharmacy or a related discipline.
