Quality Coordinator

About the role

The Quality Coordinator will act as the primary liaison between Magna and its customers, ensuring that all quality‑related issues are addressed promptly and effectively. You will lead process‑improvement initiatives, manage warranty complaints, and support the APQP/PPAP delivery schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, providing support and problem‑solving as needed.
• Lead process‑improvement and problem‑solving meetings for customer and warranty complaints.
• Monitor and coordinate incident tracking, reporting actions to customers and internal teams.
• Ensure timely completion of phased/gated deliverables in the APQP/PPAP process.
• Coordinate customer resident activities, containment actions, audits, and deviation detection.
• Conduct supplier, product, and process audits; analyse supplier data and generate reports.
• Administer the Supplier Concern reporting system and manage 8D reports.
• Coordinate supplier PPAP reviews, monitor KPIs, and update process flows, FMEAs, control plans, inspection plans, and control charts.
• Support integration of MAFACT/MQS, GRA, and IATF 16949 into a unified management system.
• Continuously improve the Quality Management System and update related procedures.

Required profile

• Experience in automotive quality management, supplier development, and warranty handling.
• Strong knowledge of APQP, PPAP, IATF 16949, and related quality standards.
• Proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams and drive corrective actions.
• Excellent analytical and reporting skills.
