Quality Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Quality Manager to lead quality, governance and compliance initiatives across a group of nursing homes. The role will support clinical leaders, drive continuous improvement and ensure person‑centred care meets national standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead quality assurance, governance and continuous improvement programmes across multiple sites.
• Mentor Persons in Charge to maintain compliance with HIQA standards and regulatory requirements.
• Plan, conduct and report on quality audits, develop corrective action plans and monitor their implementation.
• Develop, review and implement policies and procedures aligned with national best practice.
• Monitor incidents, complaints, safeguarding and risk management data to identify trends and drive improvements.
• Deliver training, coaching and guidance to management teams on quality, governance and compliance.

Required profile

• Registered General Nurse with current NMBI registration.
• Post‑graduate qualification in Healthcare Management, Quality Improvement, Clinical Governance or related discipline (essential).
• 3‑5 years’ experience in a quality, governance or compliance role within healthcare.
• Strong knowledge of HIQA standards, healthcare regulations and person‑centred care.
• Proven experience leading audits, managing risk and supporting regulatory compliance.
• Full, clean Irish driving licence and willingness to travel between sites.
