Quantity Surveyor – Commercial Construction

About the role

We are Cunningham, a leading construction company operating across Europe. We are seeking an experienced and talented Quantity Surveyor to join our high‑performing team in Dublin.

Key responsibilities

• Provide accurate cost and value reporting at project and business‑unit level.
• Manage cash‑flow reporting and cost forecasting.
• Maintain commercial information, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements.
• Negotiate and manage subcontractor agreements, identifying commercial risks.
• Foster strong client relationships and ensure supply‑chain engagement with appropriate contract terms.
• Support interaction between commercial and operational site teams.
• Coach and mentor junior Quantity Surveyors and apprentices.

Required profile

• Degree‑level qualification in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
• Minimum of 4 years post‑graduate experience in construction, working with a contractor.
• Experience on residential projects in Ireland is desirable.
• Familiarity with various forms of contract, particularly public works in Ireland, is desirable.
• Extensive experience in commercial management and subcontractor procurement, including measurement, control cycles, and accrual calculations.
