Regional Commercial Director – EU (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a Regional Commercial Director for the EU to lead commercial growth across European markets. Based in Ireland and working fully remote, you will shape high‑value client relationships, drive enterprise sales, and deliver tailored payment solutions that enable international expansion.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute business strategies to acquire enterprise customers across Europe.
• Build and maintain a robust pipeline of high‑value commercial opportunities.
• Lead consultative sales engagements, understanding client payment challenges and proposing tailored solutions.
• Manage the full sales cycle for complex deals, from prospecting to contract signing.
• Establish trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and act as a strategic advisor on payment and cross‑border expansion.
• Collaborate with Product, Risk, Compliance, and Operations to design scalable commercial offerings.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify new growth opportunities.
• Represent the company at industry events and networking opportunities.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years of experience in business development, enterprise sales, or commercial leadership.
• At least 2 years within fintech, payment services, or online payments.
• Proven track record selling payment solutions (card acquiring, alternative payment methods).
• Strong understanding of payment ecosystems, merchant acquiring, and enterprise customer requirements.
• Ability to generate leads, build pipelines, and close complex B2B deals with long sales cycles.
• Experience managing relationships with multiple senior stakeholders.
