Registered Architect & Assigned Certifier – Residential Developments

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Registered Architect who will also act as an Assigned Certifier for large‑scale residential projects across Ireland. The role combines design leadership with statutory compliance under the Building Control Amendment Regulations (BCAR).

Key responsibilities

• Develop architectural concepts, masterplans and detailed drawings for housing estates, duplexes, apartments and mixed‑use schemes.
• Prepare and manage BCAR Inspection Plans, coordinate site inspections and issue Certificates of Compliance.
• Liaise with local authorities, building control bodies and consultants to ensure planning and regulatory approvals.
• Review technical submissions from structural, civil, fire and BER consultants and resolve on‑site compliance issues.
• Maintain comprehensive BCAR records, CE certification files and Declarations of Performance for construction materials.

Required profile

• Registered Architect with proven experience in Irish residential construction.
• Strong knowledge of Irish Building Regulations (Parts A‑M) and BCAR procedures.
• Demonstrated ability to manage projects from concept through construction completion.
• Excellent coordination skills with multidisciplinary engineering teams.
