Registrar – Vascular Surgery (July 2026 Rotation)

About the role

The position is for a Registrar in Vascular Surgery for the July 2026 rotation. The successful candidate will join the National Clinical Programme on 13 July 2026 and will be expected to deliver specialist vascular surgical care within the hospital setting.

Key responsibilities

• Provide clinical assessment and management of patients under the vascular surgery specialty.
• Participate in on‑call duties and emergency vascular procedures as part of the rotation schedule.
• Engage in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to patient care plans.
• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with hospital protocols.

Required profile

• Active Irish Medical Council (IMC) registration with number clearly stated.
• Relevant experience in vascular surgery or a closely related specialty.
• Successful completion of required membership examinations.
• Eligibility to sit OET/IELTS examinations where applicable.
• Availability to commence duties on 13 July 2026.

Required skills

• Clinical competence in vascular surgery.
