Restaurant Host

About the role

The Heritage, a luxury hotel and award‑winning spa in the Laois countryside, is looking for a passionate Restaurant Host to be the first point of contact for guests in its dining venue. You will ensure a warm welcome, manage reservations and support smooth dinner service each night.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and seat guests, creating a welcoming atmosphere.
• Maintain a waitlist during busy periods and manage table turnover.
• Take bookings in person, by phone and via email.
• Prepare mise en place for service and oversee nightly dinner hosting.
• Assist with other restaurant duties as needed.

Required profile

• Enthusiastic about hospitality and guest interaction.
• Comfortable working evenings and handling a fast‑paced environment.
• Flexible and willing to support other restaurant roles when required.
