Restaurant Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Restaurant Manager to lead Silks Restaurant within our family‑owned 4‑star hotel. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will oversee daily operations, maintain high service standards, and ensure guest satisfaction while maintaining a visible presence on the floor.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and develop the restaurant team to deliver exceptional customer service.
• Recruit, onboard and train new team members.
• Manage the day‑to‑day running of the restaurant and food service operation.

Required profile

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a management role.
• Strong leadership and people‑management abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to handle busy service periods while maintaining guest service quality.
• Good knowledge of HACCP, food safety and health & safety legislation.

Required skills

• Experience with EPOS systems.
• Familiarity with restaurant reservation systems.
• Knowledge of HACCP principles.
• Understanding of food safety and health & safety legislation.
