Rigid Driver

About the role

We are seeking a reliable Rigid Driver to join our team in Rathcoole, Dublin. The position is focused on groupage freight, ensuring that goods are handled safely, efficiently and in compliance with the Drivers Handbook, company quality procedures and statutory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Adhere to schedules and meet delivery times between Dachser Ireland sites.
• Complete all required paperwork and operate company handheld devices accurately.
• Comply with health & safety, road safety, quality and ADR regulations.
• Maintain a safe working environment and report any incidents or concerns immediately.
• Keep ADR training and all relevant certifications up‑to‑date.
• Perform any additional duties directed by management.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year experience in a similar driver role.
• C Class driving licence.
• Current digital driving card and driver qualification card.
• Effective written and verbal communication in English.
• Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving attitude.

Required skills

• ADR licence (preferred but not essential).
• C Class licence.
• Digital driving card.
• Driver qualification card.
