Security Engineer - AI Trainer

About the role

DataAnnotation is looking for experienced security engineers to work as AI trainers. You will evaluate AI‑generated cybersecurity content, solve technical security problems, and provide feedback that improves how AI models reason about real‑world threats.

Key responsibilities

• Assess AI‑generated threat analyses, vulnerability assessments, and offensive security techniques for accuracy.
• Design and solve security‑focused technical challenges used to train AI systems.
• Write clear technical explanations and security‑relevant code snippets.
• Provide actionable feedback that shapes the next generation of AI security models.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of hands‑on experience in a cybersecurity role (e.g., penetration testing, red teaming, incident response, detection engineering, DFIR, malware analysis, threat intelligence).
• Comfortable navigating and patching codebases; some coding experience required.
• Fluent English with strong written communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; relevant certifications (OSCP, CRTO, GREM, GCFA, CEH, etc.) are a plus.
