Security Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Security Engineer to lead the implementation, configuration, and ongoing support of our security toolset. The role will ensure that our security technologies are tightly integrated, highly available, and continuously improved to protect the organization’s assets.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deploy, and configure SASE solutions (e.g., Netskope, Zscaler) and endpoint detection and response tools (e.g., CrowdStrike, SentinelOne).
• Diagnose and resolve real‑time issues with security tools to maintain optimal performance.
• Research, test, and recommend new security technologies; lead proof‑of‑concept projects.
• Integrate security tools with cloud and on‑premises environments in collaboration with IT teams.
• Develop scripts and automation to streamline tool management and reduce response times.
• Create and maintain documentation for configurations, troubleshooting procedures, and best practices.
• Collaborate with incident response, vulnerability management, and other security teams to align tool capabilities with business needs.
• Provide training and mentorship to junior staff and stakeholders.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity with a focus on security engineering and tool deployment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, GIAC, CEH, or vendor‑specific credentials (e.g., CrowdStrike, Netskope).

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with SASE platforms (Netskope, Zscaler).
• Endpoint detection and response tools (CrowdStrike, SentinelOne).
• Endpoint privilege management, application allow‑listing, email security, SIEM management, and detection engineering.
• Scripting languages for automation: Python, PowerShell, Bash.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware and software security solutions.
