Security Engineer - Product

About the role

We are looking for a Security Engineer – Product to join Wiz’s fast‑growing team. In this role you will partner with software development and DevOps groups to embed security into our cloud‑native products and production infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Lead threat modeling and security reviews for Wiz’s products and cloud environments, identifying attack surfaces and defining mitigation strategies.
• Build automation, policy‑as‑code and security tooling that enables “shift‑left” security in CI/CD pipelines.
• Design and implement secure baselines for AWS, Azure, GCP and Kubernetes resources.
• Drive vulnerability management, prioritize remediation, and create preventative controls across the software supply chain.
• Extend detection and response capabilities, creating scalable solutions to triage alerts and investigate incidents.
• Collaborate closely with engineering and operations teams to deliver secure‑by‑design solutions.

Required profile

• 7+ years of experience in security engineering or security operations within cloud environments.
• Strong hands‑on experience securing AWS workloads (or equivalent experience with Azure or GCP).
• Proven track record with vulnerability management, threat modeling and incident response.
• Experience building automation, policy‑as‑code and security tooling for CI/CD and Kubernetes.
