Senior Accountant – Dublin City Centre

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join a leading accountancy and business advisory firm in Dublin City Centre. This role offers the chance to manage your own client portfolio, provide strategic business advice, and mentor junior staff within a supportive, growth‑focused environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a diverse portfolio of SME clients across multiple industries.
• Prepare complex annual statutory financial statements.
• Deliver accounting support and business advisory services.
• Build and maintain long‑term client relationships.
• Review and coach the work of junior team members.
• Support team performance, utilisation and profitability targets.
• Collaborate with senior management on client engagements and business development.

Required profile

• ACA, ACCA or equivalent qualification.
• Experience in an Irish accountancy practice.
• Proven track record preparing statutory financial statements.
• Experience managing an independent client portfolio.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building abilities.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to meet multiple deadlines.
• Proactive, client‑focused attitude and a passion for mentoring junior staff.
