Senior Associate – Cloud Security (Microsoft Technologies)

About the role

PwC is seeking a Senior Associate to join its Technology Consulting practice, focusing on cloud security solutions built on Microsoft platforms. You will work with a team of problem‑solvers to design, implement, and support security architectures that protect client data and infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, design, and implement Microsoft security solutions such as Microsoft 365 Security, Microsoft Purview, MS Entra, Azure Security Center, and Microsoft Defender.
• Conduct security assessments and vulnerability analyses, providing remediation recommendations.
• Collaborate with clients to translate business requirements into effective security strategies.
• Provide guidance on Microsoft security best practices and relevant industry standards.
• Develop and deliver training sessions and workshops to raise security awareness.
• Stay up‑to‑date with emerging Microsoft security technologies and threat trends.
• Participate in incident response activities, including investigation, containment, and recovery.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security or a related field; Master’s preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience with Microsoft security technologies.
• Relevant Microsoft certifications (e.g., Information Protection Administrator, Cybersecurity Architect, Identity and Access Administrator, Security Operations Analyst).
• Proven experience delivering complex security projects in a consulting environment.
• Strong understanding of cloud security principles, network security, authentication, and access control.
• Knowledge of security frameworks and compliance standards such as NIST, CIS, GDPR, and HIPAA.
