Senior Associate – Tax (Customs Team)

About the role

PwC’s Customs Team is seeking a Senior Associate to support clients navigating complex global trade, customs, and indirect tax environments. You will work with a diverse portfolio of industries, helping them move goods and software across borders while remaining commercially competitive.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and deliver cross‑border trade projects for clients in sectors such as chemicals, pharmaceuticals, technology, and retail.
• Advise on free‑trade agreements, export licensing, sanctions, and dual‑use item controls.
• Develop expertise in global trade and customs, embracing digital transformation tools.
• Support client relationship management, business development, and consultancy engagements.
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team.

Required profile

• Qualified tax professional with experience in customs, excise, or international trade.
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to solve complex regulatory issues.
• Excellent communication skills and client‑facing experience.
• Motivation to stay current with evolving trade policies and digital solutions.
