Senior Associate - Tax

About the role

William Fry LLP is seeking a Senior Associate to join its tax team. You will work within a multi‑disciplinary group of lawyers, accountants and consultants, providing pragmatic and technically robust tax advice to blue‑chip domestic and international clients.

Key responsibilities

• Advise on a wide range of tax matters, from complex transactions to routine queries.
• Prepare and review tax filings, compliance documentation and advisory memoranda.
• Develop long‑term relationships with clients across sectors such as financial services, real estate, technology and energy.
• Collaborate with lawyers and accountants to deliver integrated solutions.
• Support junior team members and contribute to the firm’s knowledge base.

Required profile

• CTA qualified with an excellent academic record; additional professional qualification (e.g., accountant or solicitor) is a plus.
• Significant experience in corporate tax, preferably within a large firm.
• Strong analytical, drafting and interpersonal skills.
• Commercially‑focused, solution‑oriented approach with the ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team, both on‑site and remotely.
