Senior Aviation Project Manager

About the role

AECOM is looking for a Senior Aviation Project Manager to lead complex aviation and infrastructure projects in Dublin. This senior leadership position combines commercial and building‑sector expertise with hands‑on project delivery, working on‑site four days a week and remotely one day.

Key responsibilities

• Lead coordination of the project, ensuring all interfaces are managed throughout the lifecycle.
• Maintain the Responsible/Accountable/Consulted/Informed (RACI) task tracker.
• Work with technical teams to manage design consultants and external service providers.
• Organise design review meetings and communicate design acceptance to contractors.
• Report monthly on tasks, construction progress, and update the project risk register.
• Identify and propose improvements to project management procedures and templates.
• Manage change control processes and performance management techniques.
• Facilitate information flow between the project team and the client through regular meetings and written communications.
• Perform NEC‑specific activities such as reviewing programme submissions, issuing documents per the ECC, and upholding mutual trust and cooperation.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering complex aviation or infrastructure projects.
• Strong commercial and building‑sector background.
• Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage stakeholder expectations.
• Familiarity with NEC contracts and ECC documentation requirements.
