Senior Consultant / Assistant Manager – Life Sciences Business Consulting

About the role

EY is expanding its Life Sciences Strategy and Transformation capability in Ireland. As a Senior Consultant / Assistant Manager you will work on end‑to‑end pharmaceutical, biotech and medtech projects, helping clients navigate complex challenges across the value chain.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver transformation projects for Life Sciences clients, applying critical thinking to address strategic, operational and patient‑outcome challenges.
• Contribute to workstreams such as disease‑area strategy, asset positioning, launch readiness, market access, pricing and medical affairs excellence.
• Conduct qualitative and quantitative research, synthesising insights into clear, client‑focused outputs.
• Support senior team members in designing and implementing innovative solutions across the health system.

Required profile

• Strong consulting experience or prior experience within a Life Sciences organisation.
• Demonstrated analytical rigour, strategic insight and creative problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Motivation to accelerate a career in Life Sciences business consulting.
