Senior Design Manager

About the role

RKD Architects is seeking a Senior Design Manager to lead and coordinate multiple architectural projects across a range of sectors. Based in Dublin, you will work with international clients and multidisciplinary teams, delivering design solutions that meet both aesthetic and functional goals.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the delivery of multiple projects and project teams.
• Engage with and advise clients throughout all project stages.
• Develop and communicate approved design solutions to internal teams.
• Guide consulting partners to achieve successful project outcomes.
• Analyse and contribute to project delivery strategies at client and project levels.
• Allocate and manage project resources effectively.
• Report project status and resource needs to senior management.
• Translate design concepts into detailed project documentation within budget constraints.

Required profile

• Proven experience across multiple architectural sectors and with diverse client bases.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams through all stages of medium to large‑scale complex construction projects.
• Comprehensive understanding of the construction process and the architect’s responsibilities.
