Senior DevSecOps Engineer

About the role

This fully remote position is for a Senior DevSecOps Engineer based in Ireland. You will design, build and maintain secure, scalable cloud infrastructure for a fast‑growing technology platform. The role combines automation, security and development expertise to ensure reliable, high‑performance systems.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and continuously improve cloud infrastructure solutions on AWS.
• Build, maintain and optimise CI/CD pipelines for fast, secure production deployments.
• Develop and manage infrastructure‑as‑code to automate cloud environments.
• Implement monitoring, logging and alerting systems to proactively detect issues.
• Create resilient architectures and recovery processes that minimise manual intervention.
• Integrate DevSecOps practices into development and deployment workflows.
• Collaborate with engineering and business teams to enhance reliability, performance and scalability.
• Investigate incidents, identify root causes and drive long‑term improvements.

Required profile

• 3+ years of hands‑on experience with AWS, preferably with an Associate‑level certification.
• Strong background in managing infrastructure, databases, networking and highly available applications.
• Advanced Linux system administration skills and proficiency in Bash scripting.
• Experience working independently in a distributed, remote engineering environment.
• Passion for building secure, reliable systems at scale.
