Senior Engineer – Residential Development

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Engineer to lead technical delivery for a major residential development of over 500 units in Wicklow. The role involves overseeing key works packages, coordinating with subcontractors, and ensuring high‑quality construction outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary liaison between the main contractor and subcontractors, resolving technical queries.
• Manage technical documentation, including submittals, drawings, and RFIs.
• Oversee quality management systems and site coordination across all construction phases.
• Coordinate subcontractor packages, ensuring proper sequencing, programming, and information flow.
• Supervise Subcontractor Site Engineers in establishing control points, grids, and as‑built surveys.
• Develop and enforce the Project Inspection Plan, including quality checks, installation inspections, and material testing.

Required profile

• Proven experience in senior engineering roles within large residential developments.
• Strong background in technical document management and quality assurance.
• Ability to manage complex construction packages from site development through superstructure and envelope works.
