Senior Engineer - Tier 1 Contractor

About the role

As a Senior Engineer you will be responsible for delivering a major commercial construction project in Dublin. You will lead the setting‑out and surveying activities, ensure works meet design specifications and quality standards, and coordinate technical aspects with site management and subcontractors.

Key responsibilities

• Perform setting‑out and surveying to translate design drawings into on‑site measurements.
• Manage technical delivery, monitor progress and maintain accurate records.
• Coordinate with site managers, subcontractors and other stakeholders to keep the project on schedule and within budget.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations.
• Identify and resolve technical challenges as they arise.

Required profile

• Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Proven experience as a Site Engineer on large‑scale projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies and ability to read technical drawings.
• Valid Safe Pass and relevant certifications.
• Proactive problem‑solver with strong organisational and communication skills.
