Senior Health & Safety Advisor

About the role

Our client, a leading Tier 1 contractor in Ireland, is looking for a Senior Health & Safety Advisor to support a major residential development in South Dublin. Reporting to the Regional H&S Manager, you will be responsible for implementing and monitoring the project’s EHS Management System and fostering a strong safety culture on‑site.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and monitor the company’s EHS Management System throughout the project.
• Promote a positive health, safety and environment culture with site management, contractors and workers.
• Conduct weekly inspections, generate reports and ensure compliance with EHS regulations.
• Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with the wider project team.
• Coach site personnel on best‑practice EHS standards and procedures.

Required profile

• Recognised EHS degree or diploma (NEBOSH diploma or equivalent preferred).
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in health & safety roles within the residential construction sector.
• Proven experience on large‑scale construction projects.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and influence others.
