Senior HR Business Partner – 12 Month Contract

About the role
This 12‑month contract position provides senior, strategic HR support for a complex, multi‑site organisation on a maternity‑cover basis. Reporting to the Head of HR, you will partner with senior leaders to align people strategy with business goals and drive organisational change.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement HR strategies that support organisational objectives.
- Advise senior leaders on workforce planning, succession, and organisational development.
- Lead complex employee‑relations cases, investigations and disciplinary processes.
- Coach managers on performance management, development planning and compliance.
- Partner with Learning & Development to address capability gaps and lead engagement initiatives.
- Provide HR analytics and workforce insights to inform business decisions.
- Collaborate with Talent Acquisition, HR Operations and Reward teams on projects and initiatives.
Required profile
- Significant experience as a senior HR Business Partner or advisor in a large, multi‑site or complex environment.
- Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and manage change.
- Deep knowledge of employment law, employee relations and HR best practice.
- Strong analytical capability with experience using HR data for decision‑making.
- Experience in construction, engineering or project‑based settings is advantageous.
