Senior HR Business Partner (Fixed‑Term, Meath)

About the role

This fixed‑term (12‑14 months) senior position supports the HR function of an established Irish organisation with around 400 employees. Reporting to the Head of HR, you will act as a trusted advisor to department heads and senior leaders, building strong relationships and providing hands‑on HR partnership across the business.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with senior managers on employee relations, performance, talent management and change initiatives.
• Proactively identify and intervene in ER issues, coaching managers before problems escalate.
• Manage ER cases end‑to‑end, ensuring fairness, policy compliance and adherence to Irish employment law.
• Analyse workforce data and MI to influence senior decision‑making.
• Lead employee engagement activities, interpret survey results and drive action plans.
• Coach and develop junior HR Advisors.
• Oversee talent acquisition, maintaining visibility of hiring activity.
• Own and deliver the L&D strategy, support succession planning and manage the LMS.
• Run structured onboarding programmes and foster a continuous development culture.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a senior HR Business Partner or strategic HR management role.
• Broad generalist HR background, comfortable working across the full HR remit.
• Deep knowledge of Irish employment law and HR best practices.
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing abilities.
