Senior Manager Information Security

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Information Security Manager to lead cybersecurity governance, risk, and compliance initiatives for a client in Dublin. The role operates in a hybrid model, combining on‑site presence with remote work, and requires hands‑on oversight of third‑party risk, security operations, and stakeholder communication.

Key responsibilities

• Define and maintain cybersecurity governance frameworks and risk registers.
• Lead third‑party risk assessments, onboarding due diligence, and ongoing vendor monitoring.
• Oversee outsourced security services, including MSSP and SOC providers, and manage incident response processes.
• Coordinate with multiple suppliers under a shared‑responsibility model and handle escalations.
• Communicate risk‑based recommendations to senior management and non‑technical stakeholders.

Required profile

• 7+ years of experience in cybersecurity management and strategy.
• Proven track record leading complex projects and service‑management initiatives.
• Experience in organisations with limited internal security capability.
• Recognised cybersecurity certification such as CISSP or CISM.

Required skills

• UpGuard (or equivalent third‑party risk platform) experience.
