Senior Mechanical Engineer – Lead Projects and Teams

About the role

This senior position leads mechanical design across major projects, managing delivery from concept to completion while shaping technical direction and supporting junior engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Lead mechanical design across major projects
• Manage delivery including timelines, quality, and technical output
• Oversee calculations, specifications, and technical reviews
• Act as a key client contact and trusted advisor
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and external consultants
• Mentor and develop junior engineers

Required profile

• Degree in Mechanical or Building Services Engineering
• 6+ years' consultancy experience
• Strong technical expertise across mechanical systems
• Proven experience leading projects and client relationships; chartership desirable
